FotoFunSpot COVID-19 Policy

What’s Happening

COVID-19 is the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.  This virus is particularly contageous and is responsible for about 133,000 deaths in the United States (as of early July, 2020).  It’s no surprise that this virus has practically halted the the event industry served by M. D. Miller Photography and FotoFunSpot.

Now that restrictions are being lifted, and events are resuming, we are taking specific precautions to prevent spreading this virus.

What We’re Doing

FotoFunSpot has adopted procedures based on the guidelines set by the CDC to protect our customers, their guests, and our team.

Proactive measures including social distancing, temperature scanning, and report-to-work policies have been added or modified in consideration of the pandemic.

Our Team

Team members that have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in immediate contact with someone that has tested positive are required to notify FotoFunSpot, and are ineligible to work on-location assignments until it is subsequently safe for them to do so.

Before entering the venue at a photo booth assignment, all members of our team will be checked for a fever, and if discovered, the teammate will not be allowed to work the event.

Our entire team will be wearing masks covering their nose and mouth at all times while around our clients and their guests.

Procedural Changes

FotoFunSpot has implemented several procedural changes to the operation of our photo booth services.

Photo booths will be setup such that there is only one entrance, and one exit.  All guest traffic will flow in one direction.

Social distancing will be enforced by allowing only a single party into the photo booth area at a time.  The next group may wait at the entrance, no less than six feet away from the photo booth.  Stanchions and signage will be setup asking guests to wait at a distance until the attendant invites them into the photo booth area.

We will have hand sanitizer available at the entrance for guests waiting for their photo booth session.  No food nor drink be allowed into the photo booth area.

Props are being limited to those which can be sanitized between every use.
