Way back in 2007, when photo booths only existed at theme parks and shopping malls, a friend asked me to be their wedding photographer. We talked about adding an area near the dance floor where guests could come and take candid photos of them shaking their “groove thang.” We created a backdrop using a roll of white photographic paper, and guests came strutting their stuff all night.
Everyone was having so much fun letting loose in front of the camera.
We didn’t call it a “photo booth” back then, but this was the dawn of a new photography service.
In 2012, I left the wedding and portrait markets to work exclusively providing photo booths and event photography. I felt it was time for a new name, one that better represented our services. FotoFunSpot was selected because it portrays that “spot” at an event where everyone is having so much fun being photographed.
Today, FotoFunSpot has grown to a multi-booth, multi-operator company, and now has been recognized by the community as The Best Of Omaha.
