Some parties have a theme. Others go ALL IN.
And when our friend Jodi at Party Bar Omaha decided to celebrate five years in business with Camp Party Bar, she absolutely understood the assignment.
Hosted at The Corner Event Suite in Waterloo, Nebraska, the evening was full of thoughtful details, creative vendors, and just the right amount of summer camp nostalgia. Think friendship bracelets, root beer floats, photo keepsakes, and a whole lot of celebrating.
Honestly, we kind of wanted to stay at camp.
A Summer Camp Theme, All Grown Up
If there’s one thing we love, it’s an event where the theme carries through every little detail.
Camp Party Bar was exactly that.
From the custom canvas Party Bar bags to the activities guests could enjoy throughout the evening, everything felt intentional. Not in an overly coordinated, afraid-to-have-fun kind of way. More like someone took all the best parts of summer camp and gave them a serious upgrade.
And the vendor lineup? Pretty perfect.
Pat on Tap brought the nostalgia with root beer floats, while Heidi Marie Private Jeweler helped guests make friendship bracelets.
Because what would summer camp be without a friendship bracelet or two?
Tilly Goes to Camp!
Naturally, we couldn’t show up to Camp Party Bar without bringing our favorite little camper.
Tilly, our vintage camper photo booth, fit right into the theme, giving guests a place to grab photos and take home something fun from the celebration.
But we didn’t stop at prints.
We also brought our Keychain Bar, so guests could turn their favorite photos into personalized keychains right there at the event.
A photo for the memories. A keychain for your keys. And maybe another photo because, well, Tilly is pretty hard to resist.
We love pairing photo experiences with interactive add-ons like this because guests get to do a little more than pose for a picture. They get to make something they’ll actually use.
Five Years Worth Celebrating
One of our favorite parts of working in the Omaha-area event industry is getting to celebrate the people who make it what it is.
And five years in business? That’s worth making a little noise about.
Jodi and the Party Bar Omaha team created an evening that felt like a celebration of everything they do best: bringing people together, thinking through the details, and making sure everyone has a genuinely good time.
We’re grateful we got to be part of it alongside such a creative group of local vendors.
