FotoFunSpot recently joined LinkedIn at its Omaha headquarters for a Rock Band Social, where we created a completely custom AI photo booth experience designed around the theme of the event.
And let’s just say…one album cover was definitely not enough.
An AI Photo Experience Made for the Event
Instead of bringing in a traditional photo booth and calling it a day, we wanted the experience itself to feel like part of LinkedIn’s Rock Band Social.
Guests started by taking a photo and choosing their musical destiny: pop, country, hip hop, or rock.
Using AI, we transformed their photo into a personalized image inspired by their chosen genre, essentially giving everyone their very own album cover.
Then came our favorite part.
We printed each finished design and placed it inside a CD case for guests to take home.
Yes, an actual CD case.
A little throwback mixed with AI technology? We were very into it.
When One Album Cover Isn’t Enough
The real sign of a successful photo experience is when people immediately get back in line.
Guests loved seeing their transformations, comparing album covers with coworkers, and deciding which genre they needed to try next.
Country first? Better come back as a rock star.
Pop star looking a little too good? Obviously we need to see the hip hop version.
We had guests return for second and even third photos because they wanted to experience the other genres. Watching everyone get into it was easily one of our favorite parts of the event.
