Usually, the people working behind the scenes at weddings are the ones making sure everyone else is having a good time.
On Tuesday night, it was their turn.
We joined WIPA Nebraska for its quarterly WIPA event, Club WIPA at The Diamond Room in Omaha, bringing together wedding and event professionals for an evening of education, connection, dinner, drinks and, eventually, a whole lot of dancing.
And when you put a room full of event people together, you know the details are going to be good.
A Night for the People Behind the Events
WIPA, the Wedding Industry Professionals Association, is a nationwide organization focused on education, community and elevating the wedding industry. The Nebraska chapter brings together some of the incredibly talented planners, photographers, venues, DJs and creative professionals working throughout our local wedding community.
FotoFunSpot is especially proud to be part of that community, with our own Kayla Braun serving as Secretary for WIPA Nebraska.
Club WIPA gave everyone a chance to trade working an event for actually enjoying one.
The evening started with cocktails and conversation before transitioning into a dance party featuring local DJs.
Basically, a room full of wedding professionals finally got to be the guests.
Of Course We Brought Haus
For this Omaha wedding industry event, we brought along FotoHaus, our enclosed photo booth experience.
But you know us. We couldn’t just bring Haus and call it good.
We added a custom marquee specifically for the event, turning the exterior of the booth into another piece of the overall experience.
That’s one of our favorite things about FotoHaus.
From custom exterior panels and signage to wraps, branding and marquee lights, Haus can change depending on where she’s going. For a wedding, she can become part of the décor. For a corporate event, she can be completely branded. And for an industry party like Club WIPA, we can add those little details that make her feel like she was made for the night.
Because technically, she was.
When the Wedding Vendors Get in the Photo Booth…
You can probably imagine what happens when you put a photo booth in a room filled with people who spend their careers creating weddings and events.
They know how to use it.
Between the music, dancing and FotoHaus, the evening was such a fun reminder of why we love being part of the Omaha wedding industry.
These are the people we work beside weekend after weekend. We’re usually loading in, setting up, checking timelines and helping create someone else’s big night.
Getting the chance to connect, celebrate and have a little fun together feels pretty special.
Creating Custom Photo Experiences in Omaha
Events like Club WIPA are also a chance for us to do what FotoFunSpot loves most: take an idea and make the photo experience feel like it belongs there.
Sometimes that’s a custom marquee on FotoHaus.
Sometimes it’s completely branded exterior panels.
Sometimes it’s a tiny camper parked outside, an AI-generated album cover or even a robot drawing your face.
That’s the fun of it.
